well i am switching my frenchies food and hopefully this will be what i stay with. i have heard from several people on another forum that they feed this and their dogs love it. its chicken soup for the pupy lovers soul.

as of now i am mixing it with the vp complete and gradually switching over. they really go for it. i have also been giving them the canned merricks and i have to separate to feed that. they go nuts for it.especially the grannys pot pie and the puppy plate. they are growing so fast and have had no health issues as of yet. so we have been fortunate there. rocky has developed a bit of a snore, but he doesnt have any throwing up issues or breathing problems.
well anyway, i guess i am just curious if anyone has heard of the chicken soup or the merricks.and was wondering your opinions of them.....thanx

I have tried Chicken Soup - which is great food, but too rich for my dogs unfortunately. My dogs really enjoy Merrick canned food - especially Cowboy Cookout and Grammy's Pot Pie :)

Madison used to eat the Merrick's trout canned food, but he was always constipated so I had to switch food (or spend $40 a month on prescription laxatives.) The things we do not do for our dogs.

I've heard of both - they're very popular foods :) They're also both excellent quality premium foods.

There is no kibble in existence that will suit every single dog, irrespective of the quality of ingredients - something that some dogs do great on, another might throw up or refuse to eat. But they're both excellent quality, so if those foods suit your particular dogs, then that's great :)

Of the two, I think the Chicken Soup is probably slightly better than Merricks for the dry food (the adult formulas anyway), but Merricks seem to make the best canned food around.
