Gigi gets a shock

Nothing serious ... but this just happened and it tickled my funny bone :lol:

As you know, Gigi has gotten used to me leaving 2" of water in the bathtub for her to jump in and out of at her leisure during the day. Well, we just went outside to potty - and it is h-o-t!! Back inside I sat down to some reading and then heard a 'thump.' Then I heard some nails scratching on porcelain and realized that I'd forgotten :eek: to fill Miss Pigi-Pie's tub with water!! Being well-trained, I jumped up to do her bidding :p, and just as I got to the bathroom she started yodeling! I stopped dead in my tracks and had a good laugh that my dog was in her dry bathtub, yodeling for me to come cool her off :lol:

That is so funny Martina, Whitney and the cat race to get to the shower first after they hear the water stop and the door open, they lick the shower clean. Whitney is a bit smarter that the cat now she waits RIGHT outside the shower door and now even paws at the door while we shower. Animals are so funny. You should take pictures og Gigi in the tub so we can her silliness! :p

when i saw your opening post i was thinking electrical shock. i was picturing that cartoon dog bit into the lamp cord with his hair sticking out and little lightening bolts around his head . :eek: thank goodness it wasnt that !! lol mine are not water dogs at all . when we had the little hot spell i put them in the tub to cool them off and they just stood in the tub like two logs. stiff as boards. no fun at all. they do expect the pampering though. its cute how gigi got in the tub by herself, but hollers for you to come take care of her.i sometimes wonder if they dont think we have anything better to do than devote our entire being to them. deep down we know we love it but we just dont want them to know it ;)
