Bad Habits?

I know we all love our Frenchies, but does your baby have any bad habits that you just can't tolerate? Share them here! :)

He will usually pee in the house the first day that there is a big change in the weather, like cold or snow or rain or high wind. This drives me nuts, since he is normally very well house trained.

Abby's one bad habit is yodeling in public if she does not get pets from strangers that she meets. Did you now about yodeling, FF?? If you have never heard it...you won't believe the noise. Not all Frenchies yodel. Ferris, although more laid back than Abby is a dream in public. He, like many other FBD's was very hard to potty train. He also chewed the legs on my antique dinningroom table. :(

But...there is nothing that my wild pair do that I cannot tolerate. I cannot imagine my life without them. If you enjoy laughter, you will love a Frenchie.

:lol: :lol: :lol: Roosje...when strangers hear Abby yodeling..I think they believe I am hurting her!! I have seen many people staring at me as if I am a bad person. :D I never bother to explain...it would take an hour to explain the complexities of the Frenchie! :lol:

Does it sound like "roo-roo rooo!" ? I've not heard a dog do that in real life heh. I'll bet it looks cute! is it?

Nope...it doesn't sound like a cute "roo-roo-roo"!!! Abby's yodel that she does when she plays (she does this if her toy gets stuck under the couch) does sound rather cute....BUT the one Roosje is talking about and the one Abby does in public sounds more like a wild devil durge....and it can be LOUD :eek:

Tirsa is very jealous with food. Ok not her dry bits, they are free to take, but all other, not even a fly should come near her as she will 'kill' it. Also the birds in the sky should watch for her then. She does not have a problem me touching her food, that is all quite ok, and she is also very careful when she takes something to eat from my hand.

It is very difficult to teach her not to do this, so only solution is that she just doesn't get any food when other dogs are around or the cats are in the living room.

i know what you are talking about :) , when bono was just a little puppy, about 5 mounths old we went in the park where he was playing with another dogs. i saw a lady giving here american bulldog a dog biscuit and the dog wad so happy so I thought to my self it will be good idea to give bono a biscuit. when i took the biscuit from my beg, and another dogs came in the near my little french clown, he became a little monster. i never saw him so angry, he was burking, roaring...realy unpleasant situation.

why yes, Biggie has two very bad habits I can think of off hand...

1. He insists on stealing Lishi his kitty sister's paper and then he runs in to show me!!! what a silly boy. Her favorite game is to chase a crumpled small piece of paper.

yodeling is that what is called? my dog angus sounds like a spoiled kid screaming. i know he just wants to get petted, but all the people run away, thinking he nuts.

Ferris does not yodel at all...as a matter of fact he is really a very quiet little Frenchie. Abby is the mouth piece in our family. :D
