hi all. oscar is eating raw now as many of you know. he gets nature's variety/prairie medallions in turkey, chicken, and lamb so far. one problem. he scarfs his food! so fast! like literally, 3 medallions in 6 seconds. and if i don't mush it up, he eats 3 medallions in 3 seconds. i timed him :) so, today, i fed him his medallions when they were still a bit frozen. i mushed them up but, they were still kind of hard. it took him about 4 minutes to eat this. i don't think he understands how to chew or something. anyway, is there a problem with feeding partially frozen? or should the food be totally thawed out? thanks!

Mine scarfed that food down too! Must be delicious! :)

I don't think there is a problem if it's partially frozen. I used to thaw out that brand completely in the refrigerator. Beckham used to eat Steve's Real Food which says it can be fed *completely* frozen, which Beckham still scarfed right up.

It probably gives them brain freeze if it's frozen though ;)
