Best Frenchie Companion

Hello,

I am considering adding another dog into our family, and before picking up another frenchie, i wanted to ask everyone of their personal experiences with other breeds in their household. I'm looking to add a small breed to the family since i live i the city. Maki plays with all walks of life, big or small but he tends to have the most fun with flat faced dogs(pugs, frenchies, bulldogs) maybe he knows they can relate. I am also curious if anyone has brought their dogs to the breeders/adoption centers for an introduction and approval before bringing home another dog. Any shared experience would be greatly greatly appreciated!

we only have one frenchie but i know that he gets along best with other frenchies. He too gets along well with other dogs and enjoys the english bullies but most definately plays best with his frenchie friends. I have not, however my folkshad brought their dog to the breeder to meet her potential new sister.the breeder would not have it any other way..i think it was a great idea.

I guess it depends on a lot of things but, IMO, an English bulldog would make a great addition. They're a small to Med sized dog with many of the same wonderfull attributes of frenchies but usually not quite as active.

p.s. - And they're Soooooo Yummy and "Squishy."
