New in Illinois!

Greetings!
Hello everyone, my name is Autumn and I am from Illinois. I just discovered this site while on Boxerworld...and had to sign up! I am currently owned and ruled by a beautiful 4 1/2 month old boxer girl named Remi but I have fallen in love with Frenchie's too!! Sooo....looks like I am going to learn a lot here. I want to research and find out as much as humanly possible about this adorable wonderful breed...and then get one!!

I am looking forward to getting to know everyone and hearing all the hilarious and heartfelt stories!

Hey Olly! I am not sure if you remember, but I am the member at Boxerworld who recently posted the message about Frenchie's and Gretchen let me know about this site. You had also responded to my message and gave me some links to pictures of Athlon...what a cutie!

Welcome!! Frenchies are a great little breed. I have two little beauties. Lenny is a brindle male (5 months) and Sweetie is a white female and has a fawn spot at the base of her tail (4 months). They are so great!!! We had Lenny for less then a month when my husband had to get one of his own. See, Lenny is a really mama's boy! appicon Sweetie must have known because she is a Daddy's girls!
I am in the process of getting Lenny ready for his first show. I am hopeing to have him in the show ring by the end of May or begining of June. That is when I can find shows pretty close to home. We live In Indiana.

Gosh, thanks for welcoming me everyone! You all are so friendly!!! I am so excited to start learning more about this breed...I am restraining myself from contacting breeders and rushing into getting one right away.

I look at all the cute pictures....its just not fair :( But as soon as I learn all that I need to know and find a reputable breeder (hopefully in my area) then I will begin my search in earnest. But I really cant wait!! ;)

It's great you're doing your research now, Frenchies are quite the characters!

I have a 6 mo old dark brindle Frenchie girl named Adora & a 1 yr old APBT mix boy named Beckham. They are friends with the 3 Boxers in the neighborhood and seek them out at the dog park for wrestling ;)

I'll have to go see the pics of your Boxer now!
