Hello everyone,
Flambeau from NZ here. I'm brand new so i'm trying not to get lost :) .
I own two frenchies, Phoenix and Jade. Phoenix is a brindle with a personality to die for! He loves the show ring (he's a show off!) and stealing things (an unchewed pen is a novelty). Jade has only just come to us as a two year old so I'm still learning about here but I've found that she'll die for toys :)
Anyway, I'll stop rambling but I'd love to talk to you guys,

Welcome! I have two beautiful Frenchies. Lenny is a 5 month old brindle male and Sweetie is a 4 month old White with fawn dot female. Both of them are just as sweet as can be.

I live in the south island of NZ, in Christchurch. Phoenix is from here as well although he was meant to go to sweden. I got him at 9 weeks because we couldn't choose between him or his brother. Jade is from NSW in oz. She is going to be mated in the next month so fingers crossed for healthy babies :)

Is everyone here exclusivly french, or do you have other breeds? I have a four british bulldogs and one very loopy keeshond puppy.

Flambeau....I have owned Standard Poodles and Bostons since 1983. We lost our last Boston, Piglet at age 14 a couple of months ago (her last picture is posted here). We still have Ripley who is our 16 1/2 year old Standard Poodle. He is my love, my constant shadow and every day with him is a gift. Standard Poodles are noble creatures and I cannot express how much I love this breed. Frenchies are just as special but in a very different way.

just wanted to stop by here and say welcome ! i think several others here have other pets besides their frenchies also. i have two black masked red frenchies ,rocky is 5 months and annie is 3 months. i also have a german shepherd dog, harley who is 9 years old. and a big white blue eyed flame point siamese cat who is 4 years old we call phatboy. my two 16 year old daughters named him that because they said "phat" means awesome. lol . hope to see some pics of your "babies" i got my kids plastered all over in the photo section. ;)

Christchurch is a nice place (in the summer, at least). I know it well :)

And I don't actually own a French bulldog at all :lol: :lol: My boy is a boxer.

I too had poodles in the past, before owning a boxer and then a French bulldog currently. Poodles are very courageous and intelligent dogs.

I've got three frenchies: Gigi, brindle female 1yr ... Lola, pied female 1yr ... and Tigger, reverse brindle male 15wks. It's a mad house here at the moment!

Been to NZ too. Actually worked in Wellington at the university and in Ohakune. Many, many years ago ... I remember Christchurch was a very, very pretty city. Welcome!

Fran, yes I have two of the prettiest Filas around. Well, I don't know of any others around here. Jewel is the oldest at 6 years and she is about 135 lbs. We also have her nephew, Brutus. He is a big boy. He is around 155 lbs and is 4 years old. They are great dogs!!! You can see pictures of them at www.************/?130562 . Linnysmom - I'm a VERY jealous of your Filas!!! They are gorgeous.

If I had a bigger house and yard I'd have a herd of Frenchies, another APBT, a Fila, a Mastiff, a Tosa, a Cane Corso, a Neopolitan Mastiff, an American Bulldog, a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, a Boston and a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel for my lap! :lol:

My husband and I love animals! We have had a hard time deciding which breeds of dogs that we will stick with but have decided that we will always have Filas and Frenchies!! We love APBT but they can be pretty hyper. We love American Bulldogs but only want one breed of large dog in the future. We have also decided that we will never own a Peke again. They are just too moody! We love Ginger though.
