Madison has been mistaken for a pot bellied pig. Mostly people do not know what he is & have to ask. The two cutest questions I have had about him have come from kids. A neighbor boy wanted to know "Is that a dog?" & my grandson wanted to know "Does him have a nose?"

Oh gosh...we have all heard just about everything! The first time that we took Abby out in public we were asked (by some foreigners) if she was "some kind of pig". We just laughed. Abby and Ferris are mostly confused with the American Boston Terrier or a baby Boxer. Roosje...Abby hasn't yet been confused with a rabbit!!

 What funny replies
Bats, Rabbits, Pigs and Cats  It makes me feel like I am missing out - most people think my Boxers are Bulldogs or Bullmastiffs but nobody has every guessed at an entirely different animal yet. I am looking forward to the day we have a Frenchie to confuse everyone :)

As posted at http://www.bulldogworld.com/forums/showthread.php?t=50, Athlon has been mistaken for a baby pig
It's not just because of the body, the sound of him sniffing everything too!

We used to have 2 Standard Poodles (only have one remaining). There were many times when they were overdue for a groom and they looked pretty wooly. People would ask what they were and my husband would reply casually that they were New Zeland Cheese Hounds. No one ever questioned him!
