has anyone heard of a dog food called prairie? our office manager at work told me she switched her dogs to it about three months ago and the change in them is remarkable. she said her vet told her it was an excellent quality food. i am taking rocky off the iams. when we let him eat our food (which i know that wasnt good) he didnt have any throwing up problems. now that he is only getting the iams he throws up once in a while.

hey quinnybear. i have heard of prairie raw food. the store here in philly where i get all my best stuff for oscar has it. i have been thinking of switching oscar to it myself. from what i know, it seems like really good food. no judgement but, i do think it is a good idea to get of iams. IMO it is not good food. oscar was on eukanuba (which is the same as iams) and he had load of problems. now he is on innova which also IMO is really great food and he has no problems with digestion anymore. i think that any food with any meat "byproducts" is not good. also, corn isn't good IMO. the second ingredient on my iams food was a meat byproduct and i think the third was corn. not good. good luck! oscar says hi :)

We have Luna on Prairie raw - rotating through a different protein source each week (lamb, chicken, beef). It's great...Luna loves it and we haven't had a health issue since (unless you include hyperactivity). Bite the bullet!
