fifth toe? :)

this is a weird question.....

on oscars front paws, there is a very small fifth digit. i guess it is kind of a thumb because it is in that position. do all frenchies have this? it is very small and it easily catches on things. someone said that vets often will cut it off because it snags so easily on things and serves no purpose. does anyone know about this?

That is called a dewclaw; most breeders take it off shortly after birth here in America.
