I'm about to fly from TX to AZ and would really love to take our puppy with us. He is going to be a little over 6 months at the time and I'm not sure if I can take him with us as a carry on cause of his beastly size lol.

Has anyone had any experience with flying with your frenchie? Which airlines did you use and how was your experience with them? I would be scared to have them put him in the cargo part of the plan for pets. It's only a little over 2 hours of flying but don't want the puppy to freak out or anything.

Any info is appreciated appicon

Please Please Please do not fly you frenchie in cargo. If he is not small enough to fit in a travel bag and take with you in the passenger cabin have someone dog sit. I had a bulldog die in cargo many years ago from heat stroke! It was the most traumatic time of my life.

Yeah, after doing research all day, there is no way I am leaving him in cargo. I'm going to probably have him fly with me under the seat. Hopefully he doesn't get too big hah

absolutely not! Especially this time of year. Reputable airlines won't ship animals during the hottest months of the year. Too many horror stories of dogs dying are out there for me!

the size requirements for the airline. I think there were some postso on the French Bulldog Friends message board. You can do a seach there.
