Little Bo is now 7 years old. He runs super fast and for long periods of time. I noticed that in the last couple months, after running he was having rear leg tremors. After taking him for xrays we found he has severe hip dysplasia. Where there shoudl be ball sockets for the hip joint, it is almost completely flat. It appears from his activity level that he may have overdeveloped the muscles around these areas -the vet coudlnt believe he could run in this condition. Obviously at this age, I will not seek surgery but am interested in anyone's feedback on homeopathic remedies to make him comfortable. I have been recommended fish oil 2x per day & Noni Juice 2x per day. Little Bo is otherwise in great shape and healty. He is on the Nature's Variety Raw Diet which completely cured him of all his previous allergies. Thanks to anyone with infomation!

Glucosamine and Chondroitin are thought to help allieviate the pain of arthritis (which he'll develop as a result of the displasia). The best source of those minerals is bone and cartillage. You're already feeding a raw diet, so he's already going to be getting those in his food (the best way). You might take a look at exactly how much bone is in the raw mix you feed though (it's not always that high in the commercially prepared stuff) and if it seems a bit low, giving him extra - for example, chicken frames to chew on/consume - could be beneficial.
