You're right Roosje - we have oodles of new owners! It's wonderful. I thought I'd take a moment to recommend the two best books that have helped me with Gigi & Lola ...
The Dog Whisperer by Jan Ferrell - loved it!
An easy to read and understand book that focuses on establishing yourself as the Alpha in all situations. Very easy to implement techniques that worked wonders for us.
The Flat Face Encyclopedia by Grebe/Eltinge - a life saver!
This is a wonderful reference book for almost any and all problems facing a brachycephalic dog - from worms, to luxating patella, to mange, to birthing, to configuration. I LOVE this book and it helps to keep me sane when I start worrying about something - or something serious that I really need to contact my vet. I keep it right next to the computer along with the phone book, dictionary, etc!
