Hi there-My name is Nicole and I am a special education teacher for grades K-3. I'm an Air Force spouse. My husband is retiring after 20 years and we are staying put for a few years-we've moved every 3 years for the past 20. We've decided that finally we can get a dog! We actually picked out a white frenchie on Saturday and are waiting for her to come home at the end of January. This will be our first dog. We are a family of four (2 girls 10 and 6) and are practicing being pack leaders.
We've been learning all we can about frenchies and about proper puppy behavior and crate training. My husband will be home with our new girl for the first two months, so she'll have plenty of outside breaks and feeding time. I just worry that he will be too easy on her! (I'm the real disciplinarian around here!)
We're stuck between two names. Since she is all white, we thought brie (like the cheese) and Stella. No reason for Stella, other than we all like it.
I'm sucking up all the info that I can from the board.
