Hello Yall,
My 10 years old "Jacque" just got diagnosed with the "Intervertebral Disc Disease". His vet said that three of his disks lost the cushions between them and fused together. The poor thing started limping just one month after his 10year birthday. Besides the three disks the X-ray also showed the poor thing had a golf-ball size stone that we immediately had removed three weeks ago. We were hoping that was the reason behind the difficulty the poor thing has in walking. It's been three weeks since his stone removal operation and his hind legs are not showing any signs of improvement. His vet is suggesting surgery; but it is scaring me to death. Has anyone experienced this with their Frenchie? what have you done that worked? For those who live around the Austin, TX area; is there a frenchey specialist in the Austin area?
Please help, my poor little angel is so full of life and I want to make sure he ges all the help he needs with the least amount of stress.
Thanks for all your help in advance.
Ollie
