New Puppy - Supplies

Hello! We are picking up our first Frenchie next weekend. I would like to ask if anyone has any recommendations on where to get good dog supplies such as crates, excercise pens, etc.

We are in Vancouver, BC Canada.

Any reason not to buy used equipment from craigslist etc?

I've bought my 2 wire crates and plastic travel crate from local craiglisters. Ofcourse I looked at them first and they were in real good condition with an unbeatable price so I gave them the money. Ofcourse you would not want to buy used dog food, treats, bowls, collar, toys etc... from there.
