Small growth on head - do Frenchies get skin tags?

Hi everyone! I'm hoping someone can help me. I was rubbing my boy Winston's head the other day and felt something while doing so. When I moved the fur away, I saw something that looked like a skin tag. It's not a lump, just a rounded, hanging growth, soft and movable to the touch. Has anyone experienced anything like this and if so, have you gone to the vet for it. I tend to jump and go to my vet for too many things. I don't know whether to go in
and get it removed and biopsied or just leave it be. I welcome your comments.

Hi Diane, first lets ask the question what problems don't frenchies have?!!
2 of my 3 have had skin tags. Depending on location you may want to get it removed, the vet can do that in their office. What I would do is just watch it and see if it grows. I had a boxer when I was a kid and she got them on her chin and they would grow so big that we would have to have it removed about every 2 months. That's another problems is they do come back if removed. Just watch the size and if it grows you should take him to the vet. Both my boys have skin tags and they are located in places they can't scratch so we were able to just leave them as they have not grown. hope that helps.
