I live in southern California (San Bernardino county area) & I've had a tremendously hard time looking for breeders. I've been to dog shows in my area, I've looked on the internet on the French Bulldog Club site & numerous others. Most breeders are a 4-7 hours drive away! And if that isn't enough, a litter usually isn't available! What do you do when you can't find a breeder, I want a puppy now! I can't wait to have a little Frenchie around the house.

I don't want to take a chance & have it shipped from another state, which by the way, how do you guys feel about that?

Please guys, help me out here! Give me the contact info of breeders in California (preferably southern).

Most people (myself included) have to go out of state for thier dogs. And most everyone has to wait. Some people wait up to a year to get a dog from a REPUTABLE breeder.

I live in NYC and had to go to Indiana to get my dog. And I was just lucky to be at the right place at the right time.
You MUST be patient and keep going to the shows and build a relationship with the breeders.

Go to www.frenchbulldogkingdom.com or www.frogdoggers.org. These are REPUTABLE breeders. Breeders that show.

These breeders get500 emails a day from people wanting pups. The bitches have 2-3 a litter and only 3 litters. You need to be flexible.Most people either have thier pup shipped or fly to get it.My breeder delivers the dog.

Please be very careful when you look on the internet. Make sure that the breeder shows the dogs and lists the pedigrees. But , you are going to have to expand your geographic area..AND BE MUCH MORE PATIENT.

I know this is not what you want to hear; but these dogs are one of the most in demand in the country today.
