Hi there, My 6 month old brindle & white Frenchie, Milo has been getting thinning patches on his head between his ears. He also has one on his neck. We have had him for about 6 weeks and at his first vet check they noticed it (we hadn't even seen it). They did a scraping of it and it came up negative. That was good. What is not good is that now he is getting a few more and they are getting thinner. Nothing is totally bald yet, but I am sure it will be soon:eek: . He doesn't scratch, it doesn't look like anything but white skin underneath. No irriation just not much hair.

Anybody with any ideas?

Hi there - there are many reasons why your pup could have bald patches, take Milo back to the vets for further investigation.

I figured that was what I would ultimatley have to do. I have people suggest it is a type of mange, but I really don't think so. the skin underneath is just so perfect and he is not itchy or anything. I really hope that isn't it because that woudl be an auto immune problem and that is so not good! I have also read if it is that, it quite often will just clear itself up around 8 months. Thanks for your help.
