My office is a dog friendly environment, so I plan on bringing my new pup Maisie into work with me on a daily basis. Right now they have let me work remotely so that I could give her some proper puppy attention and train her a bit. She is 11 weeks old now and I will be going back to the office in a week and a half. She will have her 3rd vaccination shot next week, so I am wondering if it is ok for her to be around some other dogs. There really is only one or two dogs she would be around (one is a frenchie) and they are both in good health. Are there things that these dogs can act as carriers to and get my dog sick, or am I just being a nervous dad.

I would check with your vet and see what s/he thinks.

I was lucky enough to take Boykins to work with me for about a month shortly after she came home to us. I borrowed a crate from a friend and tried to mimic her home crate environment at my office, and I found that worked very well. (What was challenging was getting her enough exercise in my tiny office! I still have chew marks on the base of my office chair. :p )

Of course, that's assuming you are crating your pup at home.

Good luck with it all!
