Hi everyone,
I am so excited to be part of this group. I live in California and I am owned by a frenchi named Paris. I love her so much, she is my little butterball. She is a little cream female and we are just getting her ready to be shown in conformation. This will be new to me, handling her myself, but if nothing else, we will have a good time. I will try and post a picture of her soon.
I am looking forward to meeting other frenchi lovers!! :)

Hi Mishel!
Where in Ca are you? North or South? And if I might ask where you got your dog from?
Don't be nervous, I bet you will do great.I ,on the other hand, would trip on my own feet.

When is your first show? Have you gone to confirmation classes?
It is wonderful to have you here.Welcome appicon

bounjour mishel et paris!
Cant wait to see the pictures.
I have a brindle frenchie named manja (means spoiled in Malay) who is just over a year old. I couldnt even imagine taking him into the conformation ring, i have a feeling it would be chaos!

Hi Kelly and Manja! Manja is adorable!I'm glad that you translated how you came up with the name Manja, because in Italian it means "eat" although I don't think it's spelled the same, but if manja is anything like Paris, it would be appropriate too. Eating is Paris' favorite pastime!! :) Nice to meet you.

Hi and welcome, Mishel. I am also from California (southern part). Good for you taking on showing! Let me know if you ever show in the San Diego area and I'll be there to watch! Carolyn....owner of Abby and Ferris :p

I live in Southern Ca, in the foothills of Mt. Baldy. Most people have never heard of Upland(sounds like a happy place). It is about 45 minutes from Los Angeles, inland. Thank you for the warm welcome!! Paris is 6 months old, I bought her from a very nice breeder in Missouri. I plan on entering her in the Apple Valley show coming up. I have never handled myself, always used a handler, but it is something that I would like to try. I haven't started Paris in any handling classes, just work with her myself. I would like to take her to a couple classes, just to make sure that I am doing everything right. She is doing very well on the lead , I have been working with her on a table with these neat little things called "Happy Feet", they help her hold a stack position, while I pretend like I am a judge and run my hands up and down her body and examine her bite. She is such a smart girl, and really wants to please me. She is very bonded with me, and I don't know if she would do so well with a handler.

Mishel,
My friend Shari uses the same name: Jadore. Is she who you got Paris from?
Good luck at your show, and please keep us posted.

My best friends live in Lake Elsinore and show Danes.

Welcome Mishel ... I hail from MO and was surprised to learn that there are, like, 5 or 6 frenchie breeders here in the state - especially since I've only seen 3 others in all of St Louis! Aaaaand I went to school at Pomona College in Claremont and am quite familiar with Upland and Mt Baldy - what a coincidence! Good luck with Paris!
