is 8 weeks too young?

I'll be bringing my puppy home next week, YAY!- he'll be 8 weeks. Is it too early to start a raw diet? should i make a slow transition?
please advise! thanks

I started my guy on raw at 8 weeks cold turkey. His gas the first few nights was crippling, but it was gone within a day or so. Have never looked back. He's doing great.
