hi everyone
unfortunately this is another health question.
Because of the problem with manjas spine he is experiencing some incontinence. Usually if i pee him 3-4 times a day its ok but there'll still be some dribbles, especially if he's excited. I was just wondering if anyone with an older frenchie (or has had an older frenchie in the past) would have any tips for incontinence and on keeping the house dry? Ive tried a doggy diaper but the problem is that without a tail to go through the little hole, there's nothing to hold the diaper up and it just falls off! I was thinking of customizing one so that it attaches to a halter as well.

There is what is called a Belly band..
Not having a male, I can not tell you how to make it. But call your breeder and ask her.
I will try to describe how my friends with intact males do it.
Get a disposable baby diaper; don't unfold it.Slip the diaper over Manja's penis and then tape the ends over his back. does that make sense?
Many breeders with intact males use these because the males scent mark.I think you can even buy a belly band pre made...
There is no need for a tail.

thanks fran. Ill ask my breeder about this 'belly band'. Sounds ideal, although getting manja to wear things is no easy task. with the last diaper i tried he ran around the house trying to 'rub' it off against the walls! Im sure it would just take time though, and a good fit.
