Hello everyone! My name is Fred and I have a new 9 week old Frenchie named Bogie. I'm excited to be a part of this forum and i've already read many posts that Bogie and I can relate to. I hope to learn from everyone as well as share my experiences with my new pup. He sure is a handful, but he brings me so much joy. I love him.

Welcome Fred, and Bogie. appicon

This is a great site, you will find it very useful in the next few months, like we did with our boy - Bogie will do lots of strange things, but then, when you look on the board, you realise that usually, it is a frenchie thing!! They are quite unlike any other dogs.

Our boy is 9 months old now and we are already planning to get him a little sister later this year!! Addictive little suckers!!!!

Good looking pup. Our Frenchie, Tank, is also a black masked red fawn. He is now 22 months old (I probably should start using an updated picture). This is a great site to learn about the breed. Generally what you learn is that all those issues you worry about are common to every other Frenchie. Especially selective deafness where your dog doesn't listen to a single command you think he can obey and yet can rise from a full sleep on the far side of the house just upon sensing the lid on treat jar being unscrewed.
