Hello,
I have recently purchaed a Frenchie, although I'm not new to the brach type dogs as I've had pekinese all my life, and I have a boston terrier and pug currently along with the new pup
I also have birds, ferrets, pygmy hedgehogs, cats and a snalke ( the snake is my hubby's but I think he's pretty cool)
I am the mother of four kids as well and a phototgrapher / videographer. Looking forward to talking about frenchies! Nan

I am the happy owner of Abby (3 1/2 yr old Frenchie), Ferris (2 yr old Frenchie), Ripley (16 yr old Standard Poodle), and Piglet (14 yr old Boston). I look forward to hearing about your Frenchie pup. We all love sharing our funny Frenchie stories. This breed has got to be one of the funniest on the planet! :D Carolyn

Welcome Nan :)
It's almost a zoo you have!
I am a French bulldog owner by proxy (my parents keep him), I used to own a boxer years ago. I am into photography too :) There is also Savra here (who owns a white boxer) who is into photography.

hi there
wow! you have all my favourite breeds! i think if i could, i would also have a boston and a pug for manja to play with. That would be my dream little trio. My other dream dog is a Great dane! I just love their upright pointy ears and their gentle grace. That would be on the other end of the spectrum though! Would definitely need more room than i have now!

Thanks for the warm welcome! Sorry it's taken me so long to reply, but I'm recovery from a nasty chest cold. Today I'm still pretty weak but I feel better than I have.
We call the dogs the Insane Puppy Posse. They love to play, and if sleeping and eating didn't get in the way, they would do it all day long.
All three of my dogs are female, and while there is no big struggle for dominance right now, and 2 are already fixed, should I be concerned? I know that hormones can cause some of the problems. Both the older two have gone through a season before they were fixed.
The only current problem is that Abby the pug is food agressive with the other two. I seperate them all at feeding time and stay with them while they eat. Is this the right thing to do? Issy is just a baby and I don't want her bitten, but I'm not sure if I should let them all work it out as they grow older?
Arrrg What's a Mama to do? Nan

Thanks for the book idea, I checked it out and it looks like it might help. Abby isn't food aggressive with people fortunately, but she's sure a grump around the other two dogs.
It's so funny to see Issy go full tilt at the two older dogs. She's playing bulldog style and the other two are Huh??? Where did THAT come from? She holds on a chew toy and even though Abby is stronger and can pull her around Issy holds onto that toy for dear life. They all play very well together and both Abby and Lucy correct Issy if she gets too rough. These guys are a trip! Nan
