Hi All,
I'm new at this forum, infact- i'm a new parent of a wonderful little frenchie( LOUIS). I would like to get a feedback from anyone who could help me with my frenchie. I took him last night for his routine vaccinations. (DHLP-5-1 and Bordatella). Within one hour of his vaccinations, he trow up all of his food and at first I thought because he was playing hard, but then after a few seconds more food came out. I then, gave him a pedialyte to restore his electrolytes, but things just got worse right before my eye. His eyes got blood shot red and then he got so SWOLLEN his entire head was so huge, he could barely see and soon after that within 10 minutes his entire body got this disgusting hives.
I rushed him to the emergeny and the doctor told me that he had a sudden reaction from the Vaccinations. And gave him some steroids.
This morning, his face is so pale and he is bruised on his face, his legs and tummy. is this normanl?
Does anyone had this happened to their frenchie??
Also, I am planning to have him(louis) get nutured when he turn 4 months old, but my fear now is the anesthesia that they might use, since he displayed this devastating allergic reaction. Any word of advice the kind of anesthesia I might mention to the VET???
Thank you for taking the time to read this and give your advise.
best,
LOUIS
