I don't know it it's their New Year's resolution, but we have now passed TWO consecutive nights totally potty-free!!! It's a NY's miracle!!

Of course, now that I've written to ya'll, I've jinxed it :p - but I don't care! I am soooooo happy!! And proud! Gigi and Lola are on the cusp of 9mos and (honestly), I have despaired of every being completely potty-trained. I know, I know that this breed takes a long time - as do small breeds in general - but you can't imagine the ribbing I've taken from friends and family that my two still don't seem to understand the concept of OUTSIDE pottying. I am sick and tired of being laughed at!!

Fingers crossed, knock on wood, salt over the shoulder - and a Hail Mary ;) - that this is the beginning of a wonderful habit!!

Yay!!! im very happy for you! its taken manja ages to get it and even now sometimes there are still mistakes. frenchies do seem to be a notorious breed for potty training. Have you noticed that they kind of do it "on the run" as well? ie: start moving on before they''re quite finished? I live in a flat so it has been even more of a mission to train manja, having to get down 3 flights of stairs each time and then around the corner to the street.

Martina....Gigi and Lola are doing just fine! appicon Abby took forever to potty train...but thankfully Ferris took less time. Funny...because you would think a male dog would be harder but Ferris has never lifted his leg in the house. He is such a quiet dog...will not bark to go out but paws at the door non stop until we notice. Abby also does not bark but I have learned that when she comes to me and puts her paw on my arm...that means she needs to go. Don't know why this breed is so challenging. Tonight it is raining and NOBODY wants to go out. :(

Kudos to Gigi and Lola. Carolyn
