Chunk!

I picked up "Chunk" a week ago today! He is so shy and timid, and at first I had to carry him around like a baby. But now he's strutting around the house like a champ! He snorts, oinks like a pig, farts and makes me laugh all day long! I hope to post photos soon! One thing that perplexes me though is how he spins around on his butt like a top. I've been keeping it clean with baby wipes, but he still spins! Thanks, I am really enjoying the forum!

Typically there are 3 reason for itching (scooting and discomfort) in that area - anal gland issues, worms and allergies. If it keeps up for more than a couple days I would have him checked.

Congratulations on your new Chunk!!appicon Is he spinning around in play or is it like he is uncomfortable down there? Tracy had good suggestions for reasons if it is because he is uncomfortable.:)

Thanks for your suggestions, we have an appointment to have his anal glands "expressed" today, then I'll keep an eye on him to see if he improves. Thanks for welcoming us!
