Are you still in transition? Or is your dog fully on raw?
If you are still transitioning then pull back a bit and feed a little less raw for a day or two.Transiton slowly that is the key.And yes some dogs do 'barf".The stool is the key to transitioning. If it is soft just go slow. It took me two weeks to change my dog over.
If you have not already read "The Ultimate Diet" I would suggest this book. Also what protien source are you using? Sometimes that can be the problem. Some dogs don't do well with beef for example.

Yes, I am still in transition. I am planning to go full in about a week but since my pup is showing signs of either a detox or just not doing well with beef, I might do slow then. Yes! he is on beef.. :o

Fran, have you tried the SATIN BALLS for your dogs? I just found it on the web and I think it is also somewhat like BARF. http://www.holisticdog.org/Nutrition/Satinballs/satinballs.html I just wonder if that is okay to feed our dogs?

I looked at the Satin Balls; too much grain IMO. But just go slow with your dog. Transition slowly is the key. Don't change the beef. Next use a different protien source, like chicken; Everytime you introduce a new protien for the first time; transiton.
Be patient. My dog is doing so well. She was a bad eater; now I have to cut back on food cause she gained weight! Her stool is perfect. Experiment with the different protiens till you find out which ones work the best. I use chicken ,turkey, venison and duck.
