My husband Andrew and I will be getting our first "official" Frenchie in 3 weeks. I say official because our little Lucas was decribed as a French Bulldog mix from the shelter we adopted him from. Along with Lucas we have a lovely German Short Haired Pointer named Tosha. Our Frenchie will be named Duncan and we will be picking him up in Alabama at the end of the month. I have enjoyed reading the many topics discussed on this board and look forward to some sage advise in the up coming future. I have not had a puppy in 10 years but am excited to have our apple-cart happily disturbed.

Welcome Leeanne and crew. I was like you hadn't had a puppy in ten years either. Uh oh:eek: kind of forgot just how much they disturb the apple cart. But the joy they bring us, somehow all that work doesn't seem to matter. Keep us posted on the arrival and congratulations

Welcome! I know you will get all the info. on frenchies here! This site is better than any book because it's real people sharing their wisdom in regards to this unique breed! We've had dogs forever and thought we new everything but this little girl we've aquired has broke the mold lol!! Her snorting worried us for days til we realized( after a $100 ) vet visit that this is perfectly normal! My husband called her the percolator because she sounded like a coffee pot brewing! Oh, and wait til he barks! You'll simply adore it!! Congratulations, on your new bundle of joy! Mackies mom
