We are finally the proud new owners of a 16 week old brindle frenchie we call Mackie! I first saw this breed twenty years ago and knew one day we would own one. We've always had big dogs (rotties) so this time we decided to down size a bit! We still have a eight year old 140 pound rottie named Colt(for obvious reasons)! but in the last two years we've lost his two "sisters" to old age and cancer so I promised him a new girlfriend! Boy, was he surprised! She only weighs four pounds and most people think she's a pot-bellied pig! Would love to share photos of her but we'll have to figure out how first! We love all the information you provide and look forward to learning more as we grow!

Wow- twenty years to wait for a Frenchie:eek: You are going to find out in short order if you haven't already they are addicting. Anyway, welcome to you and your new addition. I hope you enjoy this forum and you'll get the hang of the picture thing soon. I think many of us go through that problem at first.:)

Hahahah! People say the same thing about my Frenchie. The other day I was in Home Depot Garden Center with Amos asleep in the cart and a Sales Associate walked up to me and said "miss you can not bring a pig into to the store" and as soon as he finished Amos jumped up to give him a big wet kiss. He then apologize over and over again.

It's so true! I just had to beg my husband for ten minutes to check my e-mails because Mackie is still learning to go potty outside and she won't sit in my lap this time of day. I said" she's just like having a baby!" You can't leave her alone for a minute! lol! I have a feeling our lives won't be the same, we love her so much!! They are truly a unique breed! The first time she barked (it took her a week) I cried! I tell my friends about her but I don't think they understand. I think you really need to spend alot of time around them to see their true personality!Don't get me wrong, I love my rottie..., well, I don't need to explain it to you!
