Hi, everyone! My name is Jen, and I'm thinking about getting a French Bulldog in the (not so distant) future. Right now, I have a Pug, a large Airedale mix, and two cats--all amazing and very sweet animals!

I joined this board so I could talk to people who are owned by Frenchies. I first found out about them from an article in a dog magazine back in 1995, and they've been one of my favorite breeds ever since. I've been doing a lot of research on various small dogs, but I think a Frenchie might be a good match for my lifestyle. So, I want to learn more about them from the people who know these dogs best.

I'm looking forward to seeing all the adorable Frenchie pictures, too! :)

Hi Jen
Welcome!!!
I love all animals and have been owned by many in my lifetime.... I have to say , my Frenchie is my very favorite !
This breed is different from any other. I know everyone says that about the breed they have, but it's true .
Mia(my pied little girl) has been an absolute joy , so much so I rush home from work just to see her.
I hope you learn a lot from this site and one day have a chance to own one of these precious little dogs yourself. You will see it is no coincidence ... people who own French Bulldogs truly love them and for good reason. ....
THEY ARE AMAZING !!!!!

Hi Jen,

I know exactly where your at with the Frenchie decision.

I've been reading about bulldogs (english and french) for a couple of years too. For a long time, I really thought the english was going to be it for me, but it was the Frenchie that won me over in the end.

Have fun with the research. When Mr. or Ms. Right pops up on the radar, you will be pretty much done for, lol. My Frenchie isn't even home yet and I'm already a slave, I tell ya!
