Where does he swim? I have heard that some puppies can, but adults are too heavy and dense so they sink and drown.
Our Tank is 14 months old and hates being in the sink for bath never mind anything a dog could swim in.

We have a couple of fenchies in our play group that swim like any other dog . . . Belzie tried swimming in the ocean and had the buoyancy of a boulder  Luckily I was there to play life guard - she doesn't like waves -as they typically go right over her head - but she did seem to be braver at the lake we go to sometimes. Next time she will be wearing her life jacket the whole time just incase she gets braver and goes too far out.

Yep... that's a great description. It's a good thing they're cute because they sure can be little devils. Welcome great to have another water loving Frenchie here. My pup is out on the lake several times a month and loves the water also. Although I can relate to what Tracy said, at times there is more life guarding going on then swimming.

but I forgot the most important part of my post:lol:
Hi Bajas Welcome to the fourm. I look forward to many stories and pictures of your little devil evilicon. Does he have a name?
My husband and I have two french Bulldogs. :D Belzie is 12 months and is a Black Brindle. She is very cobby and solid (which explains why she sinks:) ) She is also shorter than average at only 11.5 inches at the shoulders. Sam, our Fawn boy, is only 4 months and has not been introduced to water yet.
My husband (Mike: user name Slakker) loves to take pictures - so if you want to see lots of pictures of French Bulldogs, dogs and other stuff you can visit his online album (http://tandm.myftp.org/index.htm):)

Bajas is very cute :) and you've got some nice pictures to share. But I can't approve them when they're uploaded in the member gallery (there is a sticky thread at the top of the show off your dog forum that explains why). You can re-upload them, but you need to choose the brindle gallery - there they can be displayed without a problem.

Yep! They were in the brindle gallery, and are now approved :)
You're already a member, btw. But for the photo gallery, "members" is just the master grouping, within which are the fawn, brindle, pied, etc galleries that all photos need to be in.
