Hey Guys,

I picked up elsewhere, that airlines are imposing security restrictions that will prevent Frenchies from travelling alone or in the cabin w/a passenger. Does anyone know more about this?????

Bijou is supposed to come home mid/late September. Like I wasn't worried enough, now I am beside myself trying to figure out how I will get her here! Driving the distance is not an option.

Susan maybe you should try calling the air carrier you'll be flying.

I haven't heard anything like this, so if you find out more, please do post.

FWIW, I just flew back yesterday with our new 11-week old Frenchie pup in the cabin on Delta. No problems or difficulties, just paid the $50 at the check-in counter on the way back, and the pup was calm as could be. I actually took her out of her kennel for a bit twice (it was a long trip, first from Knoxville to Atlanta, then from Atlanta back to SF), and no one said anything, though maybe they didn't see her, either. The person sitting next to me didn't mind either. I know it's not allowed, but we didn't have any problems.

Continental is still allowing dogs in sherpas..as long as you make a reservation ...
Rumors are running rampant...Call your airline...

Thanks guys,

I will definitely check with the airlines!
Right now, I still have a minimum of 6 weeks before she can leave the breeder. By that time, security measures could change 10 times.

I apologize for flying off the handle over a rumor, but I started to panic.
It's amazing how attatched I am to a little butterball of fur that I have yet to meet in person!
