I have never been owned by a French Bulldog but am researching the breed to determine if a pup would be a compatible companion for my 3 yo spayed Boxer. I have been owned by Boxers since childhood(alot of years  ).
I lost my oldest to lymphoma earlier this year . It's only fair for my Chancey to have another dog to share their kind of fun with. Any advice, suggestions or opinions you guys and gals can throw my way would be greatly appreciated.

Frenchies and Boxersappicon a natural combination... My Dari's BFF is a 75 pound male appropriately named :Curtis Boxer....
There are a number of top Frenchie breeders that started out in Boxers... and got Frenchies "to keep the Boxers" in line... they are wonderful together...
Frenchies are small in size ; but not really..Heavily boned and rough and tumble..IMO, they do not do well with small dogs at all.. Dari really only plays with big dogs..Her "walking pack" is a Boxer (Minnie) Lab(Tyson) GSD(Sophie) and a large mixed breed...Small dogs annoy her..
There are many threads on here about how to locate a reputable breeder..We are being overrun by importers/byb/millers...and they are getting smarter everday how to hoodwink an unsuspecting buyer...
My suggestion..go to www.infodog.com find out when the next dogshow is.. meet the owner/handler/breeders and start from there..Be prepared for scrutiny and patience.. The reputable breeders are not an easy bunch...They get upwards of 500 emails a week...But in the end, it is worth it...
My Dari is almost 7; healthy and beautiful...as is her line...she was worth ever question etc...

Thanx for the replies. It does sound like Boxers and Frenchies are a good match. I've learned finding a responsible breeder for any breed can be a challenge. The search is on!

Hey Wanda,
Definitely go to a show. Talk to some of the breeders (and use your gut instinct at the same time) You will be surprised by how willing they are to talk about their dogs and the breed. Then it's all in the timing.
Good luck! :D
