I came here before I even got him and have found the
advice to be the best source of real life experience.
You are all so helpful and your passion for your dogs
is evident. His official title is Vondurans Cabernet Franc,
he is almost 9 months old and weighs in at about 20lbs.
We were very lucky to get him as he was to be a show
dog except for one undescended testicle. We think he's
just about perfect. Thanks for looking.

Hello Greg and Franc appicon . What a handsome (and stylish) little man Franc is :) . I have a 'Little Miracle' named 'Stella Bella My Heart'. She is 8 months old now and 22 lbs, and follows me around like my Little shadow  . She's my little 'Bud'.
This forum has so much valuble information about Frenchies and incredible support when you need it. I know you will enjoy it here.:)

He is a handsome dog.
We have a 14 month old black masked red male named Tank. He hit 22 lbs at about one year old. He's our first Frenchie but I suspect not our last.

:) He looks much bigger in pictures than he really is.
A BMF wasn't my first choice of colors, but one look at
him and I was smitten.

They say the camera adds 10 lbs, right? That is a lot to a Frenchie.
IMO, Frenchies don't change that much proportionally once they are about 4months old so the only way I can judge Tank's age or size in a picture is based on the background. It is easy to look at a picture and think that Tank looked big then or small now.
Colors - We wanted a masked fawn until we saw the masked red. The fawn we were offered was female but we wanted a male and choose him. Now we love the red, although a fawn would be nice, but a friend just a beautiful cream puppy although one of her other dogs is a really cute brindle so now we like that color and ... (she has 4 Frenchies but lacks a brindle pied, although her husband said no more including her puppies so she gave one to her daughter-in-law that lives around the corner). I can't see having 4 but 2 seems manageable. On another group, I did see a Christmas card with 12 Frenchies from a woman with a big heart; I think they were all incorrigible rescue dogs and she somehow manages to get them all through obidence.

Has he grown much since that picture?
I kinda missed out on franc's early puppyhood,
cause he was 8 months when I got him. I thought
I had missed all the house breaking stuff, but
I guess franc still has some puppy left in him.
