Fleas. Yuck.

Luna has fleas (not badly, only a few bites), and I can't seem to get rid of them. We have put 2 applications on the topical stuff on her neck (Advantage, I think), plus we've washed all the floors, her bed, and sprayed all the upholstry and area rug (the only rug) with flea spray. No luck. Any suggestions?
I've also noticed that she's started sleeping a lot more, coinciding with our flea problem. Is that common?

gosh thats quite strange. When manja first got fleas i used 'frontline' (also a monthly drop on the back of the neck) and it seemed to work well, although it probably took a day or two for the all the fleas to be gone. Now I use 'Revolution' as it is also a wormer amongst a few other things. However manja is still pretty small and my friends with bigger dogs (staffies) have told me that the larger the dog the less effective these things are. Just give Revolution a go if its avaliable where you are, as we've found it pretty successful. Also if there are other dogs around with fleas, the fleas will just jump from dog to dog giving the appearance that your dog has fleas but they wont last long if your dog has been treated.
When manja had fleas I found that they all like to hide under the pocket of his tail where the poor bubby couldnt reach and its nice and warm!!! I would lift his little 'tail' and they would all be under there
