I was looking a frenchie pup over the weekend. He looked really nice, very playful and not shy. The only problem is that the breeder indicated that the pup has one eye bigger than the other but it wasn't noticable until she mentioned it. She had him vet checked and that the vet said that there will be no problems with the pup in the future. I was just wondering if anyone has heard of this with their frenchie or any stories? Thanks in advance

I have to give you my 2 cents worth here. My Phoebe was born with a congential disease called micropthalmia. Google it on the internet. Her right eye was visibly smaller, but as soon as I had seen her I fell in love with her and took her anyway. When we got home I went to the eye specialist at the animal hospital and they did tests on her eye. She was indeed blind in her eye, and 2 years later she developed glaucoma due to her condition and had to have her eye removed, due to horrendous pressure and pain in her eye. I would NEVER not have taken her, but perhaps it is something you might like to investigate fully before you take your new pup.

I would gladly answer any questions you may have, as I have been there, done that... and would lovingly do it again :) .
