Hey everyone,

Thought i would give a quick intro.

My name is Christine,at the moment i have 2 infuriatingly fussy eating shih-tzu's named Bonnie and Emma and am on a waiting list for a frenchie, which could be anything from 18mths to 2 years:eek: I hope its ok to join even tho i dont have a french bulldog yet??

My passion is canine nutrition and i am glad this site is into holistic feeding. Australia is like a third world country when it comes to pet foods and supplements. We have only recently got in Natura products,EVO,innova etc and also have eaglepack, but thats it!! The only half decent dog supp we have is missing link.

It sometimes makes me green with envy when i hear about all the wonderful choices you guys have in pet products, you dont know how lucky you are.It also makes me a tad angry when i hear of American owners feeding stuff like Ol Roy,pedigree et al when you have so many other better choices.

Anyways i shall stop the rant and look forward to meeting all of you.

Christine

PS are there any other Aussies members?

Hi Christine, welcome to Bulldogworld :) There are two or three Australians that I can think of on the site, quite possibly more. I hope you enjoy it.

Christine...you are so very welcome here! There is a lot of great info on this site about this special breed. There is a poster here (Aussieowner) who owns sweet Mac and just recently acquired another Frenchie named Martha. She is pregnant with her first child so am not sure how often she will be posting. ;)

Welcome to the board. Now you'll get alot of good information BEFORE you get your pup, which is always a plus. I can't believe you've heard of Ol Roy!

Hi Christine! Great to meet another aussie! As Carolyn mentioned, I own Mac and Martha. Mac is nearly 2 (I can't believe how quickly time goes) and Martha is nearly 5 months! We found it really hard to get a frenchie and we were on numerous waiting lists! When we finally got Mac it was completely by chance! We've never looked back since! Martha was easier to acquire... it seems once you have one, it's much easier to get a second.

Welcome to the board, I think there are a few other Aussies, but it is great to have a few more to strengthen the numbers!!

Hi Christine

I'm not really an Aussie (I'm from Balsall Common in the UK) but I do live in Manly with my Australian boyfriend Adam and my darling puppy Louis - does that count! Great to know there's some other Frenchie owners out here, as Aussieowner said - it's good to strengthen the numbers.

I would suggest a meet but bearing in mind the sheer size of Australia that might not be viable! ;)

Hi Christine! I am slightly late on the welcome wagon. Rella, Taz and I say hello! Waiting is the hardest part. Hang in there. But think of all the things you will already know about your french bulldog before hand. Welcome again!
