Sore spots below eyes and itchy foot.

My Boris has been having little red sores down on his cheeks at the bottom of where his tears run. They were getting better, but now they're looking red and raw again. And he's been nibbling at the pad of his one foot, which is also pinkish red. I know from experience that these can be signs of allergies, and if so, I am devastated. Anyone have any similar experiences? Im hoping this will go away on its own...I have a cat with allergies and she is constantly in agony, I have to get her cortisone shots which I am told will eventually wear on her kidneys and/or liver. I dont want to have to give him shots, too, but I will if thats the only way
Any thoughts anyone has would be helfpful...I already feed them a premium dog food from Flint River Ranch, it has made all my dogs healthier if anything...no preservatives, no fillers...so I dont think its that.

How true that the vet can help the most!! But far be it for me to pass up an opportunity to add my two cents :p ! I just saw my vet and we were talking about allegies on Gigi and he recommended a dose of antihistimine as the first course of action ... so, maybe something simple like that would help Boris. The poor baby, he must be miserable. I hope that you find something that helps fast!

I hate having to take him to the vet again so soon...I have so many animals, I probably pay half their bills. lol.
