Hi. My name is Cheryl and I don't have a Frenchie yet! However, I do have a 3 year old Boxer named Joe (who just went through major leg surgery:mad: ) and a 2 year old Boston Terrier named Scampy. So as you can see, I am addicted to dogs with mushy faces and jowls. I have only seen three Frenchies in person and luckily, my DH was with me for two of the sightings. He loves them too! Currently, I am researching the breed and wondering if adding a third dog will terribly disrupt the relationship my other two already have. Besides all that info, I have been married to my husband Rob for almost 18 years and we have two teenage daughters named Kaelee and Skyla. Looking forward to reading everyone's posts and learning as much as I can about Frenchies!
Cheryl:)

Hi Gmac..thanks for the welcome! It's nice to see a familiar name!

Judy, thanks for the welcome. It's so cool that you grew up with Boxers. Handsome Joe is my first. He is the most loving dog I have ever had. He is recovering well from his surgery, but boy it's a lot of work. He can not run, jump or play for at least 2.5 months. He is now back to his full Boxer personalitiy, so keeping him quiet is quite a challenge. I am being VERY diligent because I do not want to have my poor boy jump, ruin the surgery and have to go in for it all over again! Origionally, I wanted to get another Boxer, but I really don't think I can handle two big, strong dogs at the same time. Joe is a good boy 98% of the time. But when the ugly 2% comes around, I think "two like this...I don't think so!" Joe and Scampy get along great. I just don't know how adding a third will affect the harmony around here!:)

Hi Cheryl and welcome! I have owned 4 Bostons over the years.....and although I don't have one now (lost our last one several months ago)....I will always love the breed. We have two Frenchies....Abby and Ferris. I find owning two Frenchies feels like owning a barrel of monkeys. This breed is like no other, IMHO. Hope to hear more from you.

Hi Cheryl... welcome to the forum :) . I also owned Boxers before I had Phoebe. I had 2 females, one called Beauty and the other called Lexi, and thanks to them, Boxers will ALWAYS hold a very special place in my heart. We decided on a Frenchie because they remind us very much of Boxers, just in smaller bodies!!
