I am pupsitting Paisley, a 2-year old brindle female this week. She is so different from Dutchie! She is athletic and never stays long in one place, Dutchie loves to stay in one place and never jumps on things or just in the air. She doesn't bark, she whines. Dutchie never whines, just barks. And I've noticed her tail points straight up in the air, his points down. I was wondering what your Frenchies' tails look like?

Abby's tail isnt up or down. It is short and is a cork screw. sticks straight out but isnt very long just stubby.

George has a tiny little corkscrew nub...just enough to cover his How-do-you-do! When he's really excited it will stick out a little...but never up...

Ellie Maes tail is a little nub that covers her bum and she sticks it straight out and wiggles it a little bit when she want to, but it mostly just covers her up.:o

Never up...But frenchie have all different kinds of tails. I saw this first hand at the giant play date we had, (thanks Heather!) that they all have such different characteristics and tails!

Yes, I see that! Dutchie's looks like that but centered in the middle. I'll try to get a pick of hers soon, it's the funniest thing!

Tirsa's little knob doesn't cover anything either, it doesn't even move.

Does anyone have or have seen a Frenchie with it's tail up?

Yes I have seen a tail like this it is referred to as a "gay" tail, but I have only seen the one in all my years in Frenchies/
All my kids have neat tails that cover the third eye.:D

That is the same as what Tank has. It doesn't move, doesn't cover anything, doesn't even have a silouette it is so tight to the body and small.

We call Molly's tail a paintbrush! It is so cute - and doesn't cover very much either! But it does wag when Daddy comes home

Pearl's tail looks like's Belzie's. tails are the cutest. Pearl wiggles all over when she's excited but I don't think that little tail of hers moves at all!

Merla Pearl's quite the lady. Her tails performs an important function. It's like a little bum cover, but it doesn't move more than when the cover needs to be raised. Her ears seem to do the job of the tail. They're all over the place according to the mood.

The only thing that sucks about a tail covering the "third eye" is that it gets poo crusties stuck to it all the time. She hates having her bum wiped:o

Bleu's tail is a corkscrew that points down and covers perfectly. ;) I have seen one I felt was cropped at the dog park.

Stella's tail is very short with a 'kink' in it but it has a hunk of fat covering it so it looks like a little knob. She cant move it much, just a tiny bit out when she needs to. The tuft of hair on in end is all that covers the 'neccessity' ;) . Since she can't wag her tail, I think it is so cute the way she tries to wag her whole 'hinny'.

I am guilty of having a long tailed frenchie, but she was born that way and I think "it gives her more personality"(if thats possible It only sticks directly up when she is watching some animal from far away. Kinda weird. I am gonna try to get some photos up for you to see.:D

Sorry I didn't get any of Paisley's tail, things were hectic when she was here! I only got pics of them lying around. Her tail points up towards the sky at all times!
