Hi all!!

My poor Abby has been like burping and then thowing up. Usually not too much. It seems to be happening alot in the last week or so and it is a pain because Abby sleeps with me and the last couple nights she hasnt been able to because she is thowing up in my bed.
I am wondering if I am feeding her too much or too late in the evening? I would appreciate any thoughts on this.

Hi Deanna...I think we need more information before we can share our experiences or give advice. Questions that come to mind are: has there been a recent change of diet? Or a recent change in the household? Is Abby being fed at the same time each night? Is she vomiting undigested food or bile? I would recommend that you take her in for an exam and discuss this with your vet. Hope all is well. Hopefully this she is already over the vomiting episode...but let us know.

Nothing has really changed. Her food is the same. Household the same. She went to the vet a couple weeks ago for her shots. She was a yr old in September and this just started in the last couple weeks. I think I am going to call the vet and take her in.
I am really worried about my puppy. I will keep you informed.

What do you feed her?

Incidentally, you might like to consider the possibility that the shots may be part of the cause. Vaccinations are not without consequence (just because they're generally better than contracting the disease they're designed to prevent doesn't mean they don't have adverse effects of their own) and it is not unusual for dogs to have adverse reactions - vomitting included.

Here is a site with a lot of useful information about that: http://www.shirleys-wellness-cafe.com/petvacc.htm

I took Abby to the Vet. By the way I love Abby's vet. He is awesome he talks to abby and loves on her. Anyway, he changed her diet and said to give me some Pepcid AD (sp) I gave her less food this morning and she ate and went in her crate and on the way to the doctor she did burp some but no vomit appicon Lets just keep our fingers crossed. He did also say to raise her food bowl a little because dogs take in quite a bit of air while eating and this will help.
As far as vaccination I understand they can cause problems but it has been a month since she was vaccinated and this just started last week or so. Anyway I am going to try this new food that has low residue and see what happens.
Thanks for all the imput.

Well so far so good. Abby was able to sleep with me last night. She did have a couple accidents in the late afternoon but after that no problems. I am hoping the change of food and the Pepcid will make a difference. Today is the 1st morning with the new food so we will see.
