Samia - How's Yankee?

Samia, I may have missed the update you gave on Yankee since his recent scare :( but how is he doing? I know he made it through OK appicon but I'm wondering if you ever found out what caused what was going on with him? I've been thinking about you both and just wanted to post and see if there were any recent updates. :)

Good to hear he's back to normal! appicon I would think it's not his usual diet either because it seems it would have happened sooner or have happened again since he's been switched back. :confused: I hate when they eat something mysterious! I would much rather them have something obviously wrong if they have to have something at all! :lol: I have heard that frogs could be poisonous but honestly it never crossed my mind that they might EAT one! :eek: But, I guess they'll eat all sorts of strange things! :lol:

Samia, disgusting is this - we have LOTS of stray cats in the area and undoubtedly they will kill some small creature and leave it somewhere on our property. One time a few years ago one of the cats ate some poor soul and regurgitated it up on our lawn. Well, I took Piper outside at night - didn't put lights on - and didn't know it was there so subsequently didn't see her eating it - until the next morning when she went back for seconds! :eek: Do you have any idea how many days it takes for a dead mole to pass through one's digestive tract? :lol: Even one that has been pre-eaten? :lol: We had one more similar incidence resulting in an intestinal blockage :eek: but since then she hasn't eaten anything inappropriate or dead. appicon Either she's gotten older or she's learned her lesson! :lol:
