I want to post pics, but when I tried, the message said they were too large. They are jpeg from My Documents. Also, my Frenchie is white with black eye patches. Would he be in the "white Frenchies" category?

You need to reduce your pictures to a maximum of 100kb in size to be able to upload them. That's actually still huge - most 640x480 pixel pictures (the best size for displaying online) take up much less than that. Remember that a 6 megapixel digital camera is taking pictures in 3456x2304 pixels - that's poster size!
Anyway - the software that came with your camera will actually be able to resize them (and compress, if necessary) and there should be something in your instruction manual about that. Or if it's just not user friendly, there are plenty of programs you can download from the web that will do it. A nice easy to use one is irfanview - downloadable free from www.irfanview.com

Thanks for the advice! I just submitted 3 pics of my boy, Dutchie. I just hope I didn't accidentally post the same one twice! Now, how do I get his picture beside my name?

I just approved them - he's very cute!
The picture under your user name is called an avatar. For that you need to crop/resize a picture down to 80x80 pixels and less than 10kb.
To upload the picture go to your user cp (http://www.bulldogworld.com/forums/usercp.php) (link is in the top blue bar on the page, at the far left). Choose "edit avatar" from the menu on the left. Then upload the picture you resized from your computer by clicking the "use custom avatar" box, then the "browse" button to locate it on your computer.

Your frenchie should go in the "pied" category
