Hi All
Just wanted to say hello and introduce myself.
I currenlty live in Germany, and also in Tennessee.
My husband and I have one frenchie, who is now a year old. But I have been showing dogs since 1997.
I look forward to my time on the list!

Welcome! :D How is it that you all live in both Germany and TN? Are you from one area and then have a job in the other? :)
Your baby is a cutie!

Well I am from the US, and still have a home in Tennessee. But I married a German, who cannot move to the US at this time because of his job. But I head to Tennessee next month with our girls to visit family and go to a few shows.
ANd thanks, glad you like our girl! I think we got very lucky for our first frenchie ;-) But we did wait a long time for her!

Welcome. Tell us more about your beautiful dog. What is her name? Did you get her in Germany or in the States? She is lovely.

HAHA.. what would you like to know?? She is "Fleur de Baviere" from kennel de Baviere here in Germany. She is a sweet girl, about 21 pounds, and spoiled rotten!
you can see more photos of her, as well as here pedigree on our website:

Welcome :)
Do you also show your girl in Germany and maybe also here in the Netherlands? :)
Roosje
She has not been shown here in Germany yet, but we will.
I actually just found out about the club show on April 4th, too bad it is too late to enter! Perhaps I can get hubby to bring me to watch at least...

I was thinking of going to that show with Mo, but it is our sons b irthday and I think maybe it is better to wait a year before I show her. She is late developer :) Today someone commented, who had not seen her for a while, how much she has broadened and how muscular she is has become appicon Mo turned one at the end of December. Till now I have showed all of my dogs once in their life time. I am thinking of showing Dot one more time when it is Mo's turn :)
It is a big FB club match in Lieshout on the 4th. When I showed Dot in the club match two years ago I think there were about 160 French Bulldogs. http://80.126.213.52/~roos/dotkom/images/frenchies/dot/dogshow/index.html

Well I am sure your son will appreciate it that you decided to stay home *smile*
Our girl is a bit late developing as well. I am still waiting for her chest to broaden a bit. Other than that, she has come along well. Besides the fact that she would act crazy in the ring ;-)
I saw the photos from the show last year, tough competition! Lots of nice dogs.. Maybe next year we will go, who knows..
Good luck with Mo when you show him, he is a cute boy

We wil leave having puppies up to Mo's sister Mirabelle :). I was contemplating at the time for Dot to have one nest, but decided against it because of all the risks one has with this breed and me not having any experience.
Roosje
I am quite nervous about having puppies as well, this will be our first french bulldog litter. But we have a good mentor, and a good bulldog vet nearby so I think things will work out well.
I am quite excited about the breeding, and what it may produce.. it will be a very colorful pedigree, that is for sure !

Hi welcome here.
Do you know Ytrok de Baviere??
I have'nt seen him personaly but I've seen some of his puppies.
If you know a little of the Dutch language you can read the diary of these puppies.

Cute pups. I know no Dutch though! I am having a hard enough time trying to learn German... ha
I do know Ytrok, he is a nice looking boy
And thanks for the welcome!
