Something funny happened the other day. This lady walked into the lobby of our building and she was wearing this rad pair of furry boots - the kind you tuck your jeans into, except the fur was long and silky like an Afgan dog. Luna went insane! I think she thought the lady was wearing little dogs on her feet!

That's hilarious! I know exactly the kind of boots you're talking about and the first time I saw them, I thought they were some animal too. I bet those boots require a lot of grooming. They really terrify me.

Heather -
I've seen that guy! He must stay really warm at night... brings a whole new meaning to Afgan blanket.
Haha! Afgans wearing Afgan boots lying on Afgan rugs in Afganistan.

Our first dog, a short haired Fox Terrier/Beage mix, was not 'fond' of other animlas. He was never happy with other dogs being around him but he absolutely hated women in fur coats. Went nuts over them and seemed to consider them just big furry animals to be defended against. Barking, snarling, bouncing off of windows in the house if he saw one walk by.
Wow, I can't believe this is 20 years ago.

You just made me remember something..
My Aunt had a redfox throw rug many years ago..(before we knew better). And at the time ,the family had an English setter..who was not allowed in the living room when they were not home..
Well, one day, he snuck into the living room when they were out..no more throw rug..He thought it was alive and hunted that rug down...

Iida (my Amstaff) has done the exact same thing with my boyfriend's parent's redfox rug! I doubt Iida thought it was alive, but for whatever reason she put it into pieces. She has also cleared a pair of gloves, that someone gave me as a present, from their fur lining.
I said (quietly to myself ;) ): Good girl. My little activist. :D
I said whole other things when she ate a piece of my floor. (And not quietly to myself either!)
