Hello everyone... I am so happy to be accepted into this club. I have 2 frenchies that I belong to. I recently purchased a cream little girl that is fat as they come. I do however need a name for her. I can't find any that fits her. Poor thing... had her 1 week and we have been calling her Blossom.. Guess it will be her name unless some of you can come up with a beautiful name for me.

Thanks again for allowing me into your club,
Deb

Here is a great website

http://www.bowwow.com.au/search/index.asp

for helping find a name. Sometimes you see something that just grabs you and then that's it!

Have fun searching

I would be glad to post some pictures of her.. Can you steer me in the direction as to how and where to do this?

Thanks for the link also.

I think Blossom is a great name too... and there's got to be a reason why you're already calling her that :p Stick with what comes naturally.
I am owned by an (almost) 10 month old pied princess named Stella... I don't have a good reason for her name... it just seemed right.
Welcome to the board!

I also like the name Blossom, it just sounds sweet and lovely :)
If you're still interested in other choices, here are two sites I know of:

I'm owned by a 3 1/2 year Boston girl named Cookie, and a 21-week Frenchie boy Dobby, named after bat-eared house elf in the Harry Potter books :)

Hi,
I think she looks like a Jazzy. Blossom is a cute name. I am owned By Bella.
We call her Bella Monster or Bella Baby.:)

You can also name her "Fleur". I think that is French for flower.

Oh, she is so cute!!! I think that she looks like a littel Meg (as in Nutmeg). I keep telling my husband that that would be the perfect name for a cream Frenchie.
I love to name animals!! We very rearely have stuck with a name that we have found before we brought the animal home, though. Our Frenchie female is Sweetie. My husband had decided to name her Dot, because of a cute little fawn dot she has at the base of her tail. However, when we brought her home we soon discovered that we couldn't call her anything besides Sweetie.

My male Frenchie, Lenny, was easy to name. We were talking about names on our way to meet him. Lenny was one of the first ones that I came up with. As soon as I met him, I knew it was the right name for him. In my mind, I could not have come up with a better name for my brindle baby!!

Good Luck and I do think that the name you picked is pretty too.

Naming a dog comes fairly easy for me....but my husband was always dumb struck when it came to naming HIS dog(s). Blossom is cute but if it doesn't feel just right....think harder until you find one that does! ;) If you like flower names....there are tons out there. I knew Abigail (Abby) was right the minute I saw the name. Ferris was perfect. After getting to know him the first couple of days....he SO much reminded me of the Ferris Buehler character! Can't wait to hear what you decide!!!

I love the name Blossom. I havn't heard many dogs named that. It's a beautiful name and matches a beautiful girl.

I agree - Blossom is a beautiful name, and from the picture you have posted, the name fits.

I have always found that a name will just come and you will refer to the puppy by that name even before you have him/her. When we got Louis, we toyed with all sorts of names, but then it just came to me and it stuck (btw, we already have our next name pick out too!!)
