I read about this bust and heard that a boxer was returned to the owner after being stolen a long time ago. This is so sad but I am happy to see these facilities are being busted. Four or five years ago some new neighbors moved in and had a lovely, sweet female Pit Bull. They would frequently let this dog run loose even though they had over an acre of land fully fenced in. :mad: I spoke with them and tried to convince them to keep the dog contained. Sure enough she disappeared and the family was devastated. They replaced her with another Pit mix but to this day I wonder and worry where this dog went. :(
I am ever amazed at the lack of responsibility of some owners. Many dogs are stolen out of backyards and even homes...but there is no excuse for losing a dog because of sheer stupidity.
