How do all of you travel with your little ones when you are in the car? Do you put them in their crate? Maybe their doggie bed? We are going to spend about 3 hours in the car next weekend and I am not sure the best approach. What do you guys think?? Its Aldo's first weekend away!!appicon

Either in a crate or restrained by a harness clipped into the seat belt is best. Dogs are just like little children or any other passenger in a car. In the event of an accident, if they're not restrained then they're a missile that's going through the windscreen ;)

I know it is not apsolutely safe, but still..
Diva is sitting underneath the passenger seat..
She has been "traveling" there since she was a little puppy so I have no problems with her..
The first 10-15 minutes she is awake, but after that sound asleep.. She sits there, quietly, looking at me, and I had no problems with her ever..
Even when I have a passenger she is calm, ok first few seconds she just wants to jump into his arms, but after a good NO she is quiet again..
If I would take longer trips with more dogs in my car, than I get out the crate and she is fine with that also..
but this is much better, since she is really quiet and never disturbs me..
